Just make sure you have lots of shop towels, brakekleen, and then grease if you go far enough to need to maybe repack bearings (might be a good excuse anyways)
Hubs are Warn premiums, just about a year old (I installed them last winter). Also had them out again when I did my brakes a few months back. Also replaced and packed all the wheel bearings when I did the brakes

hmmmm.........you got me grasping at straws here, but if your hubs are good, then I am thinking your problem might be in your centersection. So two questions, does that shop have a warrantee program and if so, is it still valid? If it is, take it down there and tell them whats up, hell call and ask them anyways, since they put it in, they might have some ideas that we don't as well. Best of luck, I'll be watching to see what you find

Yeah I plan on giving them a phone call as soon as I replace my driveshaft ujoints and attempt to check my axle shaft ujoints. I'd like to exhaust all other possibilities before pointing fingers.

Just found my receipt and read the warranty terms on the back... Doesn't look very hopeful...

Unhappy

........sorry to say, but, with those "fine" print's for showing[ what you had shaded], about's your warrantee for your work done, thing's DON't look too hopeful upon the service people you had the work perform'd....... . . . . I don't want to point the "bad" off hand, but just maybe might be good people for there and they "Might" checkout and all for you and "Possibly" render a fix / repair with_in reason to your like-ng's........ i feel for your prob tho, Chris........

Chris, did you ever end up cutting a piece out of your TTB where your axleshaft was rubbing?
I had a similar humming when my hubs were locked. Went through and changed out all the u-joints, axle(3) and driveshaft(2). My axleshaft joints were pretty bad as they were original. The hum did go away though.
Start with the easy ones first, the driveshaft.
Talk to the shop that did your gears and see if they recommend a break-in period, if it doesn't go away in that amount of time, let them take another look at it.

Nah I never did etch the that notch in... And I thought about that, but the noise has only started since this season, and that axle shaft was always real close to the beam.

Lol, you've probably heard that from ME! Yes I know that and they did replace my carrier appropriately.
