It's getting closer.

I ran the power wire into the bed

Then Jack came over and help me add some weight to the truck

And here's the money shot

Took some measurements for the battery boxes . Once I mount those then it on to the amps.

First off,

Excellent job on the design & installation. Being able to not only visualize something of this magnitude but also being able to execute it is true talent.

This is not meant in any way as a criticism, but does anyone else cringe just a little when they see a nice vehicle like this that gets heavily modified from it's orginal form (and intent)?

Stilll---I mean no disrespect as I think it is a fantastic install.

Thanks!

I still cringe looking at it A little part of says that I have gone off the deep end. My rational is that I still have a work truck to haul, It's just the wife's grocery getter, and it's nothing more then a welder and some duct tape to fix it

Ahh no problem.

I'm sure If I posted some pics up in the SuperDuty section .......

It's funny how people can be closed minded to some ideas. I learned that when I put 16 12's in the back of my Excursion and posted up some pics

Ok here it is. I finished it up around 11pm Friday night. Gained matched the amps at the show just to have one not work pulling into the lanes. She did a 141.2 and ended up playing in the 139 Bassrace class with 1 sub doing a 139.6

Today was different I swapped out the bad amp and did

It burped a 149.8 at 30HZ

Then I did streetBeat 4 and pulled a 149.7

Then did a 159.8 in the port at 27HZ

I think with a little tweeking of the system It will give the X a run for it's money and then some

Here's the few pics I took on the last day push to finish it.

Now the build is far from over. As soon as the CFO says ok I will be ordering 4 Stetom amps and 2 DC LVL 5 18's. Then I can clean up the back of the truck.
