Instaling a tachometer?

I have a 87 fsb with a 300 i6 an the c6 3speed auto. it doesnt have a tach, so i want to install one. if i buy one from auto zone where do i need to wire it into?

Most wire on to the coil.

From: Maine

Black = Ground
Green = coil
red = acc (in the fuse box) you could do this with the whit one too
white = lights
