dieselite wastegate install

I just picked up a new waste gate from dieselite.

Has anyone installed these? What is the best way to go about setting them to bleed at the boost pressure you want? What do you do with your red tube?

It is going on a stock turbo '01. I also have a DP tuner now with 40 60 80 eco.

I wan to set max at 25 and enjoy knowing I am building boost quick but not killing the turbo.

Yes I have an over boost fooler on the map also.

Are you referring to the Turbo Master mechanical controller on DieselSite? I have it and love it. Instructions suggest you begin at 2" of measurement. I did that and then tightened it down until it now holds 28 PSI max. I don't want to ruin my turbo...

there should be a plastic ball with the kit, you push it in the end of the red tube to plug it off

Thanks guys for the info. I have it installed. Did not take long at all. A little tricky getting that clip on but no biggy. It helped to clean the rod from the waste gate before assembly.

My new question is. You how much more did you have to turn the nut in to reach 28lbs?

Is it possible to hear it bleed off or is it just the gauge that will not go higher?
