302 (actually got a Ford motor in it!) w/C-4 tranny
9" rear

With the air all out the crossmembers and the running board mounts are about 1" off of the ground. Just started in on the bodywork in earnest - going all custom. Slow going, though - I'm about 4 years into it...

You can't get too low! Your truck is going to be nice when your done. You've done a lot of work. I really like that tattoo on your arm. Someone had some drawing talent doing that one! Why did you paint the engine orange? Ford is blue! I painted mine black because it blends with everything. Just curious?

 

Lol.. the engine and tranny are orange so they'll match the final body color. I thought about that, too.
And I agree that you can't get too low... I'm just glad for airbags so I can still get over speed bumps!

 

I figured that was the plan. That'll look sweet. Nice work! You'll have to post a picture of you smashing a beer can with the truck when you done. LOL..

 

Welcome jon6foot4 (I assume your height?) If so, you will fill up the cab front to back!
