94 F150 4.9 water pump

My water pump is leaking out where the metal line that goes to heater hose goes in.Truck has 180,000 and first repair!

I have taken the belt off,how do I take the fan assembly off?I took the 4 bolts loose that holds the belt pully onto the water pump but the clutch/fan didn`t seem to get loose. What is the procedure to remove the pump?

put those bolts back on.

you need to go to auto parts store and rent the tool set for the fan clutch.

remove radiator or put cardboard between it and fan.

remove fan. (the fan to pump is righty tighty, lefty loosey)

if tools do not work get a strap wrench for pulley and use the tool on clutch/fan.

remove pump.

it is a pain to get it off with the tube but you can do it.

the rest you should know how to do.

pm me if you need help.
