For you guys wanting to protect your project with a product that can be used over some rust and yet protect with a nice looking final finish that can be touched up later, here is a line of hi qual stuff that is priced right on a close out basis. It is a great value in both the gallon and the quart cans. They even have some black. Now would be a good time to buy it.

can you paint over it with a different paint or color if need be? I would think so, but am not familiar with that product.

For sure with the same product of a diff color as with any paint. I can not address using a different type of product over it. As normal , you would be buying more than you think you need and put some away for later in the build.
