mirrors

How you you guys like the new mirrors on this truck. I have an '01 and considering changing to the new mirror. I have the extendable to mirror with power. I wish I had defoggers on them. I notied that the new mirrors have a larger blind spot mirror. Is this a big improvement over the older mirrors?

I bet if you check the wiring it's already set up for the heated mirrors. I discovered this on my 08. It was wired from the mirror to the missing switch in the dash.

when i get to ride in my dads truck its a night and day difference to my 03 with the tow mirrors, that is something i really want to do to my truck is upgrade the mirrors

They are better mirrors, but i do notice that they seem to draw a bigger up draft when it its raining or snowing, thus causing them to get dirty faster..... maybe its because they are bigger than the old style... But i still love them! Great visability!
