The truth is the truth, I can't help it that the '48-50 is the best design.

Dan, I think you're going to be out of luck. The F-1 fenders are getting extremely hard to find. If not doing a stock restoration I think you'd be better off shrinking the wheel opening on your current fenders. Here's a picture I saw a couple of years ago at a trucks show. I talked to the owner and he told me he used a piece of pipe to made the inner egde and then closed the gap with sheet metal.

I think that custom 56 grill looks purdy in that fine lookin truck,I was going to suggest that to a friend of mine builing a 52.

i like the front end / grille on the 49 . dont really like the 50-52 . it just dont seem right . now if i found one really cheap and i looked at it for awhile well .................
