Not remotely
The engine blew with only 7 miles on the odometer with that intake/carb setup. I was tuning it while driving the 1 mile strip between my buddys garage and the stop sign. TOO much gas washed the oil away from the rings and the engine locked up. At the time I built it with an original Bud Moore 347 stroker kit 12:1 pistons custom ground cam by Holman and Moody with their dizzy and custom exhaust baffles to help on the bottom end hp. Made somewhere around 450hp at 7000rpm. After it blew I rebuilt it 100% stock.
Here is some pics of other "cool" boss 302 intakes I have. 1- Original from Bud Moore specially designed for drag racing with 2 1400cfm autolite inline carbs.
2- NOS CrossBoss D0ZX-9425 base DOZX-9C483-A top plate with DOZX-9510-A 850cfm inline autolite carb. NOS with the original boxes and instructions.
3- Original 2x4 intake and matched 600cfm carbs. Stamped Shelby where most all others were stamped Cobra. A prototype for the few 69 shelbys that were scheduled to have Boss 302 engines I have been told.

Oh,
The tire blew out of nowhere running 80 on i-95 north. Real quick shimmy then nothing but steel belts slapping the fender. I love Haggerty insurance. Took care of everything with a $ZERO deductable. Tire store said it wasnt their fault and wouldnt even warranty the tire. It only had 700+ miles on them.

Wiz,
not bragging but I value mine at 10. The bad thing is that if I got what I wanted for it where could I find another one and for what price?
The ones on ebay are usually used and Ive never seen a NOS one for sale with all the boxes gaskets and misc stuff.
What I really want to see run is the bud moore dual inline carb intake. Those are 2 1400cfm carbs!
