sorry...forgot to mention...that new 195 t-stat did not help...took er for a good burn after and she still barely hit the N...so theres something else wrong with it thats keeping it cool...or maybe the sensor is pooched...gonna take a look see at that tomorrow if i remember

...heres some pics of something i found while doin the t-stat...this is kinda disturbing...very excessive blow by...some form of seal inside that engine is blown...not good...im gonna see if i can get a pressure test done on it to make sure the piston rings are good...if they arent that would explain a lot lol

here you can see just how much oil is getting into that air box then streaking down the fender

Did you say solid axle? (this pic was for a ballistic fab giveaway on pirate4x4)

Specs: 6" Superlift, 4.56's front and rear with a TruTrac in the rear. 35" MTZ's. 351 and E40D, BBK headers, Bassani Y pipe and a flowmaster with no cats. Think thats about it lol.

Solid axle plans include custom radius arms using Ballistic joints and radius arm mounts. Dont have a definate date as im still in the planning stage of the SAS.

That is kinda nasty. Some of that on the fender almost looks like antifreeze too. Since the oil breather is in the air box, I wonder it thats not from an issue with the PCV valve.

Those are sweet. There used to be one around here, but I haven't seen it in a while. Maybe someone is restoring it, hopefully.

If there is antifreeze in the intake, you might want to drain your oil and see if there is antifreeze in it. If there is, i'd say head gasket.

i just did an oil change not long ago and the oil looks fine actually, and the oil on the dipstick shows no sign of coolant...and the coolant had no oil in it at all

im thinking its a blown ring or seal in the engine...it only started happening after i took the valve cover off and cleaned it, it was so dirty it was probably plugged causing excessive pressure which caused the oil leaks i had. now that thas opened up its blowing oil out there...really bad though ... how would the PC valve be related to this?
