Show Off Your Pre-97 Trucks
Just picked up this lil creampuff.
1995 F150, 302/auto. 3.08 rear gear. XLT. Just turned 60,400 miles on it. Stored winters, parked in garage all it's life. The headlights are crystal clear like they were just installed. The interior is perfect. All stock, all original including the exhaust. The tarp was new when he bought the truck and it is bright and black like it was new yesterday. Already ditched the tail light covers.
Only thing I've found wrong is the right radius arm bushing is toast and it clunks so I'll be replacing those this week. Other then that it runs/drives like a new truck. It's taken near 7 yrs to finally find a replacement for my other 95 that got wiped out by a woman in a minivan. Hope to keep this one around a long time.

I got the truck for nothing because it didn't run anymore and they bought a new shop truck. We swapped in a running 4.9 from a 1995 we got at a junkyard for $90. Put on a new gasket set minus the head gasket, New Main & Rod Bearings, New Oil Pump, Water Pump and Alternator & a new set of motor mounts as the old ones didn't do a whole lot of anything.
We reused the factory tranny in the truck. The shift tower bushing had given up the ghost a while ago same as the rubber plugs in the shift tower. Clutch Master Cylinder was junk so replaced that along with the clutch and Flywheel.
All said and done have about $1000 in the truck and couldn't be happier with it. Still needs a lot of stuff that "I" want to do but until money becomes available I will have to wait. But I wouldn't have a worry about driving this to California tomorrow.
And the icing on the cake is the A/C is ICE cold.
