DP Tuner and a burnt fuel heater
I have a question, will the fuel bowl heater burning out cause my DP Tuner to erase, fry, die or something else along those lines. I tried to start the truck after replacing the fuse and unplugging the heater and nothing. I pulled the chip and the truck runs fine well as good as it does without my tuner. I need my tuner back guys do any of you have any ideas.

You can have still have power coming through the chip from the PCM even if the chip is dead. We see this from time to time. That explains why the switch worked and lit up.
I do have question. What fuse number did you say you replaced?
After doing some research here on FTE in some posts posted last year about the fuel heater I have discovered that the fuel heater, PCM relay coil,Wastegate soleniod and the IDM relay coil is all on the same fuse....#30.
Electronics are sensitive to any kind of power surges. Jody still wants to take a look at the chip. If it's dead he will send you another one.

Alan, it's good to see around here again.
"If there is no customer service in a business, then there is no business"
I put that in quotes, but can't remember who quoted it. It's words to live by.

The thread I found did not list the head lights being on that fuse.
It is possible though. I need a diagram of a fuse panel to make sure.
BTW-thanks guys for the kind words.

This is a little above and beyond the normal customer service. You always keep a close eye on your childrens TOYS to make sure all is happy.
I admire this in a buisness.
