gas gauge
Has anyone had a problem with their gas gauge? It seems that every time i turn the truck to the on position, but not starting it, the gas gauge is at a different level. It will go, empty, 1/4 tank, 1/8 tank, ect. anybody else have a similar problem? BTW it is a 99 F250SD 4x4

Oh lord.. Yeah pull it and take a look at the float, and sending unit.. 61k miles, eh it shouldn't be toast yet however that float isn't the best in the world.. Quick, safe check would be drop the tank..
