Be careful cranking too long. The starter will overheat. No more than 30 seconds and let it sit for 2 minutes to cool.
Are you sure everything went back together right? No air leaks? No fuel leaks?

only cranking 15 sec at a time. everything went together good, no leaks, it builds fuel pressure at the schraddr valve which it didn't do before, could it be too cold for the oil to fire the injectors?

As clod as it is I would definately make sure the batts have a good full charge. I could be wrong but its just a suggestion, check the voltage at your GPR. If it is good. Check the glow plugs to see if they are good. In cold weather like you going thru it could be a couple bad glow plugs.

Yep, If your getting fuel you should be smoking from the exhaust. Did you get all the wiring plugged back together after having the fuel bowl out? ICP etc

Ditto on checking the connection of the electrical plug (the one on the side of the filter housing, next to the GPR), if it is loose or not connected the engine will not start.

Check HPOP oil level. If the oil is not there to push the fuel out of the injectors, then the fuel pressure won't matter.
Also crack open one of the plugs on the oil pressure rail and see if you are getting oil moving out when you crank. My bet is that after sitting that long you have an oil issue.
Also verify the screen in the fuel bowl. You may have had an algae or something growing in there over the past few months and might now be getting enough fuel flow.

yes have a wait to start light, oil in hpop is full, will check the conections and open an oil line, i was guessing an oil prob, its cold pulled the dipstick and its like honey. if the oil is too thick will it not fire the injectors? and if i plug in the block heater will it warm the oil in the injectors to allow it to flow?
