road trip

i'm just gonna throw this out to see what happens.would anyone be interested in a summer road trip up north to the great state of maine? we could do a week-long weekend camping thing up there,and meet the boys from the lobstah state?

Sounds like a great idea...

Maybe Sean will have his camper ready..

I know BIGKEN and I wont partake of this unless there is a 5 star hotel close by.

I dont know if I can go for a whole week. But I would definetely make a weekend or more out of it.

Hey Matt...sounds like a great idea...why not march forward with it??? Not my cup of tea...like BigDon has said before...my idea of roughing it is a hotel without cable!!!

Maybe you can pick a spot where we can meet up for the day..

Dan...if you think this is the boonies...you should see the town I grew up in. 1300 people...no gas stations...1 convenience/package store...1 bar...and that's at the bowling alley!!! When I was young...the police chief...part time...drove his Maverick as the town cruiser. Three speed...on the column...top speed about 50 mph!!!

there are alot of campgrounds in maine,how far north we go would depend on how many people get in on this.http://www.campmaine.com/images/banner_top.gif. everyone take a peek in the link and lets see what we can come up with.

Can't say I could do a week but maybe a couple of days. Depend how the jobs come in.

Geeee with all the comforts of home being towed behind my F-350 what more could a Big man want..There will be cooks there and he wont have to cook...He can tie his dog to the Bumper if the camper and she will be just fine...He would have a blast and stay dry when it rains
