Windshield Washer fluid dummy light

Hello everyone. Recently on a trip my light indicating that the fluid for my windshield washer was low. I let it go about a week before I added to it but it is quite full now. The problem is that the light will not go out.

So far I have made sure the sensor is plugged all the way in, did the turn key and hold the trip button to do a guage/whatever test.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you solve the problem? The only thing I haven't tried yet is disconnecting my battery to reset the computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanx!

Cam

I have disconnected mine because the light would also come on when the reservoir was almost full.

Does the rear reservoir have a sensor on it? I've forgotten. But, if so, might explain why you still have a low fluid indicator.

Try tapping on the sensor a few times. And the front and rear wipers use the same reservoir.

Mine comes on when the tank is about half empty but it always goes out when I fill it up. I don't mind the light so much I just wish it wouldn't beep at me.
