Nah brother.. I had it installed.. too complicated for me. I bought the alarm on Amazon.com for about 275.00 and the extras on ebay. In total, I spent a bit over 600 for everything installed. My install was 200.00 and took 9 hours..

I bought the alarm late 2006.

 

Any DEI add-ons should work with the 990...window roll up, proximity sensors, additional shock sensors, tilt sensors, etc...I don't know a webiste that lists them all but any should work. Don't forget, you will be needing a PATS bypass to make it work.

If you are handy with a soldering gun, wire strippers, and a multimeter (volt meter) you should be able to install it yourself on a Saturday. They are just labor intensive. I was an installer and it would take a couple hours to install this unit.
