It keeps getting harder and harder to find Santa's window of oppurtunity...

Seems every year the kids stay up a little later, and get up a little earlier.

This year Santa only had about an hour to work with...between 12:30am and 1:30am...good thing no assembley was required this year

It wasn't long after Santa crawled intop bed qwith Mrs. Claus, could the pitter-patter of kids feet be heard throughout the living room.

Hope you all are enjoying your Holiday!

You missed a golden opportunity early on. This is the bit where Santa will skip the house altogether if anyone is awake. Keep in mind that he has a difficult schedule and can swing by at any time between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am.

"It's your call kids. If you want him to stop here, you need to be asleep."

It's probably too late for you now. Ya gotta brainwash 'em young. Otherwise, Santa needs a good long nap early Christmas eve.

I generally put the news or the weather channel on late Christmas Eve and the little one goes right out. Santa does his work, takes a shot or two of Jim Beam and calls it a night. Seems to be workin so far.......5 years and counting. Good luck to all you Santas.

I'm betting that you never skipped the "Santa" presents. A year of draught might have made an impression. This is, of course, hindsight.

Naw, I couldn't do that Chet...should get a bit easier next year though, my oldest will be a Teenager (yikes!) and probably become Santa's helper...she's the lightest sleeper of the bunch...it'll be good to be able to recruit her

Breech, tried the "take a few shots" thing before as well...problem was I thought I could take a few shots, get some sleep and get Santa going about 4am...turned into being at ratrace when the sun was coming up.

Note to all Santas:

Take shots AFTER the gifts are laid out

Haha, I hear ya. My little girl usually sleeps until 7 am or so. If she gets up too early then I just roll Mama outta bed and have her stall while Santa clears out the cobwebs

Mine is a light sleeper as well (9) now but is yet to wake up when Santa's gifts go under the tree. She is still a firm believer in him, she let us sleep this morning until 9:15 a.m. I think this has been the best Christmas yet with her (great attitude) and was really good. Merry Christmas all.
