Ya mostly I want the 6 speed the long bed I could do with out and the Lariat package isnt to important but I do like the over head console set up. I guess will see what the deal comes out to I owe 15k on my truck 4 more year payments at 389 a month so they want 23,000 for this one although im sure i could get the price down so will see how the payment and price go before i really buy it but I think im gonna do it if it works out in my favor

Buy it!Get what you really want.I like the 6 speeds better myself. The one advantage of the long bed is the bigger tank.

I agree with the others. If it is what you want then you should do it. You'll be kicking yourself later if you don't.

Just don't expect to win any drag races with it. The automatics will leave you in the dust.
I still prefer to row my gears. Not looking to race anyone with a 10,000 lb truck.

I would say go for it, if you like a 6-speed then get a 6-speed. Aslong as you can get it for a good deal I'd say trade. But like Dan said no winning drag races but who cares, if you have more control over your trailer if you tow any.

Ya I do have a 36 foot tahoe travel trailer I dont tow it much but when I do my truck dose good My current truck has the air bag helper's which are great I will definately be swapping those out. I never drag race my truck literally but I race as many ppl as I can where ever Im at Im 22 LOL of course I have to. When I drove the truck yesterday evening it didnt want to start all that good. I know it needs new batterys. It hasnt even been inspected since being traded in. Its at the local Ford dealer they let me drive it anyways since Ive been a return customer almost buying an 07 with a 6speed (glad i didnt) and then again an 08 with a 6 speed LOL that time I didnt get aproved for the 40k plus I needed. Since I had just bought a new 06 CBR1000RR OH WELL! I found this truck and I like it so far But on my test drive I did hear some kinda noise Im not sure what it was but it wasnt normal. Also sounded like it might of had an exhaust leak but again im not sure it was dark and cold so I didnt crawl around looking at it. I will let you know what they find and if I do the deal

You sure it wasn't the EBPV? It makes a hissing noise with low loads and cold ambients...

Could have been but it reminded me of when my 84 F250 with a 460 had an exhaust leak at the mainfold it was a constant noise that followed the RPMS of the engine so Im not sure I like the truck but if mines mechanically better then that one Id be a fool to trade for it just cause its got the 6 speed they just called me n said they would like a 100 depsoit down so they can run it through inspection I told them I want to see the paper work and numbers on mine and that one before I give them any money

Please do not buy the 6-speed. you will hate it it is so slow you will hate yourself for making the switch. You would be way better off saving your money for a BTS transmission and then you wouldn't have to wory about your transmissin and you would have a truck that is enjoyable to drive. Good luck

Now some people enjoy playing with the gears, I do myself. It gets annoying in town but around here I like a stick and hauling I really love it. Overall I prefer my automatic though.

Using as a daily driver in the city I'm for an auto. I wouldn't trade my 6 spd for anything when it comes to towing.
