In July. Yeah I know it's early to start planning, but that's just what I do.
3 places to go to - and they couldn't be much farther apart. Vancouver (Ridgefield), Blaine and Spokane. What I wanted to ask you folks about is North Cascades Highway. I have never went across that way, always came down and went over Snoqualmie to get east. But it seems to me the NCH would be a good deal shorter and probably more scenic as well.
Any favorite places of yours along the NCH that I should look out for? We are never in a hurry when traveling, and I would like to check out any places along the way that are historically significant, or just plain beautiful.

Appreciate any and all suggestions, recommendations or warnings.

Steve

The whole Highway is a great trip. Just sit down, set the cruise, and enjoy the scenery.

It is shorter than the highways but the time will be longer. Lots of twists and turns, many scenic overviews and great places for a nooner and lunch
