Well a couple of weeks ago I was pretty gung ho about dropping a 351W in my truck, unfortunately with how much I make, I could just barely afford it. Even if I did actually go through with it, I still couldn't do it the way I would have wanted it. So to make a long story short, I'm keeping the the six for now, and will be giving it some steroids. So do any of you guys know where to get roller rockers for the 300? Could a V8's roller rockers fit? I'm planning on using a fairly high duration cam, and would really like to put high ratio rockers on it.

Clifford, Crane or Harland Sharp. They will not fit under a standard valve cover. The Clifford tall valve cover they require will not fit under a stock EFI manifold.

 

No, V8 rockers won't fit(tried 'em.) Stock 300 rockers are a fairly high ratio from the factory(I think 1.7) Guess I don't get to use roller rockers(not that I could afford 'em anyway.) What cam are you planning on? I'm looking at a Crane PowerMax H-260-2

let me tell yall something, i looked into some roller rockers for my six one time, clifford wants $425 fore 12 for a 300 six, im not to crazy about autozone's $120 price for regular rockers either.
