Well it looks like yet anonther two of our members are unexpectedly jobless. Neither one has posted on this board but one did post on another, so I will not mention who until they do.
Let's post if we hear anything, or know of a decent job opening... this is a sucky time of year to have those kinda of worries.
I checked and my company is full in Kansas/Mizzu.
I did hear there where welding jobs at Sunflower in Beloit, but you have to have welding experiance.
Let's find these guys some work, and all have a happy Holiday.
Maybe we could start a "sticky" job thread where members could either post of job openings they know about or inquiries when looking for a job. One of the best ways to find a job is to network with people we know.
Yeah, what the he!! is up with lettin guys go right before christmas?? I wish them both the best and hope they find employment soon. A piece of advice though, stay away from the daytime soap operas!!!! One more day of that crap and I would have lost what little of my mind I had left!!!
Beloit Correctional center has adds in the local paper for a maint Supervisor, securtiy people, and a grounds keeper. I heard a rumor that Cessna is looking fo a maintenance Supervisor as well. Fed Ex is looking for route drivers in Wichita. (saw another sign.)
On a side note Roberts truck center has a sign saying they are looking for people, but I heard they are not hiring until April. (and they screwed some people over about hiring as well.)

I have been looking but don't really know what to look for I guess. Been keeping my eyes peeled for something I would like to do, but after working on an ATM this morning at drgs, I might look for something else too. Ok just an idle threat.
We all have them days when we really start to question our choice of a carrer lol. Every time I smash my knuckles I think "I could have gotten a desk job!!!"
Yeah, and every time someone piles some more paper work on my desk and wants it dealt with right away, I think surely there is a better way to make a living. Also, on those days when the weather is nice, and I wish I could be outside, I'm stuck behind that desk. Good things and bad things to just about everything. This morning when it was 10 degrees and the wind was blowing, I was glad to be inside.
I get the 109 days too... Guess I'll become a manager, cushey office... company car, peeeons to do my bidding..... large salary to spend on trucks... :-)... Ahhhhh! Dreamland....
