Maximum cylinder bore on a 1992 351w

I have a 1992 351w f250 block and want to put it in a 91 mustang lx. I want to stroke this to a 408 with an eagle rotating assembly all forged with a main girdle and arp studs on the mains and heads with afr 225 race heads. The block I have needs a .040 over bore. I'm looking for 500-550 hp on pump gas with 10.5 cr. Will this big of a bore be acceptable for this block?? I know the older 351w's 69-70 are the stock block to have but these are the cards i'm dealt. thanks
