excessive smoke through crankcase breather during starting

my 1986 f150's six blows smoke throhg the breather while cranking, this problem may be relative to my earlier post(scroll below) that no one responded to, anyone have any sugestions?

if my six needs an overhaul im swithing to a 351 or 400 v8.

excessive smoke through crankcase breather during starting

If you are getting blow-by then at a minimum you will need to replace rings - depends on how much your cyls are worn.
