Hey guys new to the site so this is my first post.i recently bought a 94 4x4 with the 300 6.it has 224000 miles on it and still runs pretty good I want to do a good tune up on engine.what parts and brands do you guys suggest and is there anything that can give it more pep far as bigger ignition goes?

 

1st obtain a motor manual like a Chilton that covers your '94. 2nd Motorcraft parts are as good as it gets and 3rd a bigger ignition will certainly lighten your wallet but not necessarily provide any boost in performance.

 

That what I was thinking on ignition.im gonna go with better muffler and k&n intake should help a little. I know some plugs ate filed so gotta get that done first

 

Also thought about cam but heard a lot of mixed reviews. I in the process of obtaining the exact same motor from another truck and will have it rebuilt and bored 30 over.but thinking about going back to carb with split intake and a 2 barrel.
