wix filter assembly

is anyone using the wix filter set-up? the whole thing only cost a little over 100 bucks and uses a large rectangular element that costs about 30 bucks. it takes 1 minute to change. my tattle tale hasnt hardly moved in 30,000 miles. sure beats these 400 buck filters i see. i dont know if there is a K&N element that wil fit. my truck is a 04 6.0.

K&N and Green make a replacement filter for the stock canister. Cutting the stock element out of the canister is a pain, but a $100 filter that with cleaning will last 1 million miles will pay for itself in short order. I have installed a couple of each, so they do exist.

K&N has a universal guide if you want to keep the wix filter box.
