Same year, same mode,l same features it should work on others. If you have an AT, it should work on same year and model with AT.

Who in their right mind would sell a DP tuner? Are you selling the truck?

Edit- Ahh, thats fine then. Getting another 7.3?

Call Jody, he will be able to tell you what is compatible. He guessed mine over the phone based on year. THe for sure way is to pull it again. 10 minutes max including battery disconnect.

it has something to do with build date, for example my early 99 tuner will work on any early 99

im sure if you did sell it the buyer could send it in to have the PCM number changed to work on his/her truck

If you are getting another 7.3, then I'd keep it and have it reflashed to the new PCM that you get.

I got sick of reading so sorry for repeating if I am. All you have to do is get it reflashed. Just like if you put a big oil kit or new turbo on. It costs some money...but the chip isnt junk.

Ed - I tried to PM you on the tuner, but it wouldnt let me. Post two more times
