ordered parts but can't find one.

Hey All,
I'm new to the forum and just been reading all the good info and decided on getting the hurst short throw shifter and air raid intake ordered through summit.

I have a question though, I was looking around for a diablo computer progammer was unable to find one for my '97 truck. Does anybody have any leads on this? I've tried haven motorsports, diablo's web page and ebay with no luck.

Thanks,
Matt

Brian,

That was one of the sites I tried but I looked again and still came up with the same thing. The drop down box's go as low as a '99 f-150 and the next drop down for the sub model is a supercharged 5.4l. Is it possible that they no longer make that product for our 4.2l?

Matt,
Maybe they don't make 'em any more.
Try asking over in the Chips and Tuners forum. Maybe someone there will know.

I talked to the people over at diablo sports and they said they have a chip for the '97 4.2 but no predator series programmers. I think that's pretty much what everybody has been saying on the forums, I was just confused.

After looking around some more I ran across a programer from SCT, the XCalibrater 2 which I think I'm going to go with. I guess they can setup a "tune" for whatever mods you have done to your truck so I think I will hold out and buy the programmer last and get everything else I want bolted on the truck first.
