I am looking ahead to rebuild my 300 soon. I have read some people complaining about clifford parts. Is there a better or more reliable product out there for some performance. And what is the difference between a 3/4 cam and an RV cam??
My 94 only has 140,000 on it so it might be a while.
I used Clifford's 270* cam and loved it. It worked great at about 2200 RPM (est.) and up. And still had lots of lowend. I dont really have anything bad to say about Clifford except for their prices. Lil high. Anyway...my 2 cents.....

Just thought I'd touch base with you before you blow big bucks with clifford. There are lots of cams out there for the L6 engine that are much cheaper than clifford performance with comparable if not better performance gains. Comp cams makes 5 different grinds for the 300 six all 5 for $120 bucks, SSI performance offers 2 grinds for $59.95 each, Crane offers 3 grinds for $112 bucks each, Crane even has aluminum roller rockers for the 300 L6 $249.95,guess the bottom line is you don't have to drop major bucks at clifford to get performance. I hope this will help you out! Dan H.
