2 Stroke oil in the fuel?

Once again i heard another story about adding 2 stroke oil to your fuel. Its all because of the ULSD. Is it worth it? How much should you add? I really cant think of any way it could damage anything. Maybe higher EGTs. Any thoughts?

This has been discussed all over the place. It pretty much just adds lubricity to the fuel.

I read that the mix is 16 oz for 35 gallons.

I bought some a little while ago to try, because a 16 oz bottle of syntech two stroke oil was about $1.50. I figured it'd be worth a shot for that price, but it'll be awhile before I actually try it.
