Help! Broke fuel line

Upon pulling into my driveway I smelled fuel. I stopped truck got out and noticed that on the right side of the fuel bowl there is the ( I think )incoming fuel line attached with a brass fitting. I touched it with a wrench to tighten it and it broke the second the wrench touched it. The housing where the fuel inlet comes in broke off inside the brass nut. The housing is busted. I called all over town and nobody sells this part. Is this an International only part, a Ford only part or what? Need some help everyone, truck is stuck in the driveway and if I key on fuel sprays everywhere. Thnaks very much in advance, I'm sure after a reply or two I'll be set as usual.

Are you saying you broke the actual aluminum fitting off the side of the fuel bowl? I have a spare one here if you need it, but youre way on the other side of the country. If youd be willing to wait a few days, i could send it out, but i bet there is someone closer

Thats what was broke alright! I just need to know if I can get that part. International opens up here in a few minutes so I will give them a shout. I think it was already broken and the wrench finished it off. Anyone dealt with this before?

was it this piece? if so Diesel innovations has them, or, like Kris said I have a spare and would be happy to give it to you, but I am also on the eastern side of the country, so you would have to wait a few days.

OBTW, it is called the fuel pressure regulator housing, and inside there is spring loaded poppet valve. I bet the fuel line is o.K. just unscrew busted housing from it and get a new compression sleeve for the line when you get a new housing.

DO NOT use a brass compression fitting. The sleeve that you need is made of viton(i believe) and cannot be gotten at Lowes.

It does not have a nylon bushing, it is full brass if that helps.

You need International Part number 1831296C92 It is a flex fitting sleeve kit with new seals for all of your hard lines about $12-15 form INT. (these are just the little black bushings that go inside the brass nut on the hardline. do not skimp on this part or you may have leakage develop soon.
