Well, I thought I might start and see how far this goes.
My totals for the '07 deer season are as follows:

There were a total of 4 deer dispatched to my freezer:
2 bucks
2 does

The following was also dispatched, but not to the freezer:

1 possum
3 squirrels
and a partridge in a pear tree.

 

this year has not been that bad.
freezer- 2 does
wall- 1 buck green score 159 5/8" BTR
woodshed wall 3 small trash horns, probably 50 doves, 1 bobcat and 1 otter. but there's three good days left of deer season here!!!!!!!! I have a trip scheduled next fall for a whitetail hunt in Wisconsin, now that should be fun..
this is the biggun lol....

 

that's a nice 'un! I hope to finish out this season with something. I will be in the woods, field, pasture, road, etc... wherever I can find em.

season has ended and I must admit, I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER YYYEEEEE HHHHHHAAAAAAWWWWWW. only thing left to do now is shoot bird,squirrels, rabbits and them big ol toms "turkeys"

 

i didnt shoot any this season, but i have 12 steaks and a roast in the freezer.

 

I can't believe this is all the responses that have been posted. WTF is that about? We all like to sit around and talk about the deer we killed this season, well here is your chance. Let us hear about it.

 

Make that 12 steaks. We fixed up the roast in the slow cooker with some carrots and potatoes. That deer just melted in my mouth.

 

I hate to say this is the first one I missed in 32 years! I spent this year taking care of my father. He decided that a broken back one week mini stroke a few latter and a month after that a broken hip would be fun. I told he was done so I will be going this year. We will also make our fishing trip to Hatteras this year too!!!!!

 

Man quit beating up on your ole man. J/k Hope he recovers good. And Good luck on the fishing trip!

 

You know how it is they whine about the cat food and want better so we have to smack him from time to time..... I can't wait to get back to Hatteras!

 

I wish me and daddy could get back down to nags head. The last time we went it was like 6 years ago. We'd bring in like 2+ big coolers full of flounder. I'm ready to stock my freezer. I have the deer now i need the fish!!

 

Yall just do Surf Fishing? It has been a little slow the past couple months (with a couple days of big schools) but hopefully it will start picking up again with the colder weather which should get some rockfish running.

 

We used to go every Thanksgiving and Easter. Then a few times during the summer. Been a while but I'm gonna try this spring.

 

since this is a thread about hunting. How do u get the skin from around the antlers. I want to do a antler mount. Do u just boil it off. I have sawed it loose from the rest of the head. I have skinned the majority off. I just have a few strips around the base of the antler.
