I had to do it. It was too great of an opportunity. In all seriousness though on the eastern side of the state between Aniston and Auburn the amount of deer is crazy. Look at a road atlas and the area with very few roads on that side of the state is loaded. I have actually seen them jump into the side of several cars on the road and see them on a daily basis just walking around in the woods.

Randolph county is loaded. Also, dog hunting is not allowed, so the deer are not pressured so much.

Huntin

Yes, sad cause deer hunting is over for this year. Have 80 acres in Chilton county, another 100 acres up north in Limestone county near Athens and also 70 acres in Noxubee county in Mississippii. Just put the Noxubee county property up for sale.

Have yet to get into turkey hunting, have a ton of turkey on my Chilton property

I'm in on a lease in Evergreen....about 950 acres. Got a nice 190lb 8pt last year up there. There were also 2 other 8pts to come off that piece of land. We know there are biggers ones out there....just have to catch him a the right time!
