Auto Headlamp Sensor

I know this question may belong in the general superduty thread but I feel the folks here are the most knowledgeable around.. I installed a remote starter on my 04, I was thinking I could take the parking light output from the remote start module and connect it somehow to the autolamp sensor to trigger the lights on when the remote start activates (this would be in lieu of tapping into the trucks parking light wiring) Do you think my best bet would be to open up a set of shop manuals? Anyone have experience with this?

I put a little rubber cap over the sensor, so when the truck is on, the lights are on.

That may do what you want without any wires at all.
