1982 F250 Wiper Motor compatibility

Hi everyone,
I have a 1982 F250 and the wipers dont work. The **** has three positions,
which i believe to be OFF / SlOW / FAST, with full twist left being OFF. The **** pushes in for the wiper fluid.

I'd like to get one at a scrapyard for around $30 instead of 60 for an off brand new one, or 80-90 for Motorcraft version.

Is there an easy way to tell what (other) years have the same wiper motor?

The truck is a beater for weekend projects, so not in hurry on this.

Thanks

brad in ann arbor.

Yes. Go to www.partsamerica.com and plug in your truck and look for a new wiper motor. Write the number down, go up and hit "change vehicle", plug in a different year truck, and when you are done it will go back to the wiper motor page, but give you the motors that fit that truck. Make a note of the part number and see if it matches the one for your truck. Keep doing this over and over for different years and you can find out what fits.

E2TZ-17508-A .. Wiper Motor (Motorcraft WM-388)

Fits: 1980/86 F100/350 & Bronco.

If your truck was made before January 1, 1982, the outlet arm must be changed.

Ford list price: $249.84 / FTE member net price: $132.44

Washer pump also not working

Thanks for the search tips. They will greatly help in terms of scrapyard parts.

My wiper fluid (push the **** in) does not work either. Is that a clue that the
problem may not be the wiper motor?

Thanks
