DP 80hp Tow vs 80hp Econo

My 40tow shifts harder than my 80 econo under a semi-agressive pedal. Just slow driving, the 40tow shifts right on time and crisp but the 80e rolls in early. Now, my original 40tow (that is burned on my PCM) shifts even harder! What was cool about it was, it held for so long under load that I could shift it manualy once I learned the max shift points and started lifting off the pedal just a little.

Edit!!!!: Tenn, you put one down this year yet?

i dont have much too add, as i tow in the cold north, the hottest day ive towed in was 65 deg. pulling around 13K this past summer and never seen over 900 deg when I had the 40 tow, now ive went to the 80 tow but havent had it on the highway yet with a load, but if feels nice, good power, very responsive and the shifts are on the money along with the inner workings of my transgo tugger kit.
the biggest deal with the tow tunes is timing and fuel delivery to keep the egts down.

That's an awful lot of travel trailer there Ehammond, how many times did you pull it before you bought the Hensley Hitch ?
Anyway, my 60tow doesn't adjust the transmission parameters but my 80 Economy does. I've pulled in both modes and 80econo runs a little hotter but alot harder. My EGT's are the same stock and 60Tow while towing makes no difference.
