Found a 2007 XL Ranger Regular Cab 4x4 with 3.0l v-6, manual, low miles. I agree the 4.0l is the way to go but I really like the Regular cab, this is actually the only one I have found. I tow nothing and only haul camping gear for me and my dog. Is the 3.0l really a bad set up? Thanks all at FTE.
The 3.0L/manual is a good setup for what you're going to do with the truck. I had a '98 4x4 with that setup and I was very pleased with it. Change the fliuds and filters regularly and you'll get a lot of miles out of it.
man, I went out to price one and I just opted for the xl version,3.0, auto and 4x4 and shoot it was over 20 grand...wow! it's been awhile since I priced a new one, but I don't even think so....
Thank all for the comments. The 2007 Regular Cab XL 4X4 I found on a specialty lot has 2100 miles, I will try to find history as to why so low of miles and then traded. Thanks again.
Edit to add they want $12900 for it was at $13995.
