Unfortunately, my wife owns a VW. The only good thing about that car is the forum. They have a real nice area for "Do It Yourself" projects. I'm no computer programmer but it would be nice if we had an area where we could post our DIY projects and fixes.
This is just an observation, not a critisism of this forum.
There are numerous freatures. I recently had to repair my overhead electronics (compass...). I could have easlily taken some pics and made up a little DIY. There are many people who have experience in removing the rear air bags and putting in springs or even as easy as removing the radio for a replacement. Most of the items we take for granted may save someone else some time and $. Plus I know that when I do repairs myself, I appreciate my Expy that much more.
Here's the VW page for you to review if you want to see all the different items they have listed http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1835863. You may need to create a profile to view this, I'm not sure.
I think I brought this idea up about a year ago. Lets make a list of how-tos that you would like to see and I'll see what I can do about organizing it or something.
Excellent! I almost want to broadcast it to everyone to get a smorgasbord of DIY projects.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
