Was this engine only offered in 1963-1964 on F-100s? Was it available on, say for example, Galaxy's or Fairlanes?
I just can't find a fan shroud. Also brackets aren't there for AC and PS adapts.

The only 262 to use a fan shroud was the F600's...but...
This will work, it will clear the radiator, and should fit like it was made for it.
D3TZ8146C .. Fan Shroud ~ Original application: 1967/76 352/360/390 all except super cooling radiator. But it works perfectly on 1961/66's 6 or V8...I have one on mine.
This fan shroud is still available from Ford.

Where you will find P/S brackets, I haven't a klew, but for A/C: vintageair.com

fan shroud for 262-6
Number dummy - you said that D3TZ8146Z would work on my 64 F-100 with the 262. I found it on Direct Ford Parts - but the parts guy doesn't seem to think it will work.
but he is willing to sell it to me. and it is only $65, plus shipping.
