I recently put a weiand intake manifold and a holley 4160 on my truck. My problem is when i put on the throttle cable in the original bracket it will not hook up to the holley linkage. i have about 2 inches between the carb and the cable. Any help will be appreciated

 

Sounds like you have an Automatic Overdrive transmission. Am I right? If so, you have more work to do. I have just done this swap successfully myself.

 

oh really? i did some tinkering and i found an edelbrock slotted extension. looks hokey but its all i could find without doing some modifying. and i have a c-6 not an e4od
