Driving through a pasture and idling in one place are a different story. And as far as your warranty experience goes some people will tell you anything to make a buck. I had a few power train warranty repairs done on my old truck long after I voided it and it expired, never had a problem. The people I know acctually keep their word. One of the reasons I only paid 14k for my 08.

Are the 08s still speed limited to 95 mph like the previous generations or did they raise it. The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to know how you all got to 115 and 122 mph or did the tuner raise the speed limiter?

Still limited to 95. Programmer automatically took it off. Didn't know it was off till I had that little race.

Wow, you weren't afraid of going over the speed rating on the tires, or was it just a small amount of time at that speed?

I didn't even relize I was going that fast untill I checked the display. I knew I was past the markings on the spedo, but the SCT tells you no matter what speed. Right when I saw it I let off. It was just a drag from 50 I was having with a Dodge. Wasn't long at all. The truck was riding smooth as glass when I got it up there. It's very supprising how fast the truck is accelerating when you're doing 80+.

Have you done any towing with the tuner? If so, what kind of weight and what was the experience like?

I was able to get X plan without a pin and got much more than I wanted for my trade. Only had to fork out 14k.

When I'm towing I tune the truck back to stock. I don't have the EGT installed yet and just want to be safe.

Yes, you said you drove, which indicates you did not stop in one place for an extended amount of time. When I'm working I am constantly stoping my truck for 5-10 min. periods in tall grass while idling.
