Radiator hose hot and tight, normal?
Hi all, Im new to this forum, (and ford trucks too!)
’88 F150 4X4 Supercab.
I was showing a neighbor my new truck, and he grabbed the radiator hose and send that I needed to replace the thermostat. I felt it too, and it seemed normal to me. I then referenced my $13 repair manual and got somewhat confusing answer. The manual said that if the radiator hose is hot then coolant is flowing, but it did not say if this is normal. I’m not having a overheating problem. The temp gauge stays in the first quarter of the “normal” range.
Who’s right, me and my manual, or the neighbor I trust?
Thanks
DanS
