Heater Core
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone sell reproduction heater cores. My is leaking badly, I removed it today and found that it has had many repairs over the years and is in pretty bad shape. I lloked at the Rock Auto site with no luck, I was also wonder if any other fords used the same core.

It depends on what type of heater you have. There were many aftermarket types. If your heater looks like this one, then I have a solution.
I found a replacement heater core for the Ford Script heaters. The new core is from a 70-74 International Scout II, 75-77 Scout II w/ AC. These are available at NAPA or Ebay for about $65. I just had to swap one of the old end tanks with the new end tank so the pipes would line up correctly. Here is a is a picture of my old core and the new core before I had one of the end tanks switched.
