Well yep. If I could afford that many layers of clothes.

I came from a cold place many months of the year state, and I don't really want it again.

But I will say this - if it gets TOO HOT, you can only take off so much before you are in violation of local ordinances.

I can usually get by with a few small electric space heaters. The KERO killer heater is currently on the blink....

I turned off the gas two years ago, because it only ran a gas heater that was not used most of the year, and it failed me one time. That was when I went with other options. And it was the only appliance in the place that used natural gas.

Where I am, even if you don't use it there is a monthly service charge, so I finally decided CHARGE THIS!!!

And said thank you for nothing....

Having found electrical means, gas is not needed, or wanted.

Electricity is relatively low in the Mississippi Valley

PS: You folk go to sleep too early, but I cain't hep where you all live.....

Electric baseboard heat is the heat of choice. I have propane logs for the wow factor. Cost 4.35 gal for propane. Won't burn the logs much.

Blame the government.

It works for me!

Personally - I'd like to have a wood stove in this damn shack.

The heat of CHOICE is a fireplace.

Same as it was two hundred year ago.
