2008 Mid - Atlantic Meet Carlisle All Truck Nationals - Mid-Atlantic Region
The chapter leaders of the Mid-Atlantic Region has agreed to hold an FTE G-2-G at next years All Truck Nationals in Carlisle, PA The date is August 8--10, 2008.
Info on the show can be found here, Carlisle Events All-Truck Nationals. Experience The Cars. The People. The Excitement.
We plan on registering as MIDATLANTIC FORD TRUCKS (FTE) club and hopefully be in the running for a club participation award. REGISTER HERE,,, http://store.carlisleevents.com/merc...gory_Code=CAN8
This will involve members paying a registration fee which in turn will qualify us to have a tent and parking provided by the Carlisle show.
There are plenty of hotels and campgrounds available for overnight stays. It is possible to make it a one day trip from where you live for the Saturday of the show. If we have enough members willing to stay overnight, then we would be willing to reserve a block of rooms now to guarantee them for the event.
We need to get 25 registered members to get the free tent and parking for FTE.
What we need from you all now is a show of support for this meet to see how many we will have from FTE that plan to attend.
ALL FTE MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND!
Send me a PM with your email address so we can keep you informed on any updates, hotel/motel accomodations, campgrounds, etc.
This post has also been made in each state chapter of the Mid-Atlantic Region.

I hope this helps in your search for a campground for the gang to stay at. I would like to say that I will be there for sure. I might have to wait until the last minute to know because of work.

We well all be registering asMIDATLANTIC FORD TRUCKS (FTE) club , so we can get a free tent and area within the Carlislie fair grounds. You will be able to park with the group no matter what you bring. The reg. fee includes driver and one passenger.
Details on how to register will come later.
