well, i spoke to my exhaust man today, he's going to bat for me!! he fought this same issue a couple of years ago and won. it isn't manditory to have cats, nor is my system illegal no matter the noise. the incriminating officer isn't in until friday so i have to wait to hear what they come up with before soing my victory dance...
You should talk to a lawyer, they might know something about that too, and would probably know for sure if its illegal or not. Downside to that being the cost of one though.
well, he fax the cop a copy of a court preceding that he was involved in a couple of years ago, gave me a copy to read also, plainly states that they cannot give an order like that. if they do and the person knows no different but does not comply, SGI will NOT cancel your plates. its stated there in legal form... i have to wait until friday when the incriminating officer returns...
well, i won. got the call today from my buddy. she was apologetic and says she will inform the other officers about the issue so they aren't wasting they're time and ours. she is supposed to call me to clarify the deletion of my incrimination but i've yet to have the call.
