Question F350 blowing whitish smoke

Purchased this truck for a family member and trying to narrow down the issues its having. I think the truck is/was programed and deleted because it is straight piped. 1st issue it sometimes wont start or turn over which I believe was/is caused from the xk04 fordpk system. Which I plan to remove tomorrow. The second main issue is the SMOKE. motor seems to run ok but every once in awhile falls on its face and loses power then picks back up randomly on acceleration. I'm getting white smoke sometimes at idle and sometimes noticeable while driving always noticeable when slowing down and coming to a stop. we've narrowed down a couple possibilities and don't believe the turbos are failing. Truck has some blow by but not sure if its excessive or not. I believe some oil is getting in the top of motor only noticed because I noticed an oily area on the under side of the hood. bad ccv or possible leak in inner cooler? I'm wondering if someone possibly removed the turner (previous owner or dealership pirates) and reset the pcm back to factory settings and the trucks trying to run without proper programming? Not ready to outsource to another shop just yet so any known or knowledgeable advice or solutions is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks in advance

If the truck was set back to original program then you would be having a check engine light for all the items that have been deleted. White smoke is most likely coolant in combustion chamber. How much coolant is it losing?

None. Check engine is on and it's throwing exhaust codes. The truck runs good and builds boost and when you first start it up it'll idles fine for about a min then goes into high idle for a few min then idles back down. Which also makes me think the pcm isn't programmed and is trying to regen.

F350 blowing whitish smoke

If it has EGR deleted and the CCV rerouted, it will smoke while idling. The 6.4L has a lot of blow by and if EGR and CCV is rerouted, it has to go somewhere. Sometimes the CCV is rerouted into the exhaust pipe, which will make it smoke out of the tail pipe. The CCV can re-routed under the track too, which will smoke under the truck. So, you need to look at all of the modifications.
