As Maxium4x4 said it was a limited run of bad radiators.
"Radiator coolant leak:
Some radiators have developed leaks at the end tanks due to poor tank crimping. Radiators with a build date of 8-6-07 and later have been inspected and certified. Radiators that were built prior to that should be inspected for incomplete crimping of the end tabs at the tanks, as well as cracks in the tank around the transmission cooler line fittings. Build date information is on a yellow or white sticker on the top radiator cross rail. Replacement radiators should be inspected for damage prior to installation. Broadcast Message 0246, 0107."

Well mine should be o.k. I have a build date of Oct. 6th. on the truck.
I was down a little on the coolant but maybe it was just that some air in the lines was purged in break in. I've got 2200 miles on it now.
thanks

My Rad blew Friday. It burst and coolant flew 20 feet in the air from the seam between the fender and hood. Left me stranded out in the Mojave Desert. Dealer tore it apart on Saturday and should have he new rad on Tuesday. Capt Caper, you could have an early build rad in your truck, I would try to find the sticker to know for sure.
