I now have taken 3 oil samples and sent then off to Blackstone. The milage on the samples ranged from 5730 to 6386. Most of which involved driving on country roads, freeway and pulling the 5th wheel on trips.

My three reports from Blackstone all indicated everything is normal but that each time it shows a 1.5% fuel in the oil. Should I worry about this?

Using Rotella 15W-40 year round.

 

Are you taking the oil sample after 10-15 minutes of highway driving? I believe this is the instruction. If you take the sample when the oil is cold or after stop-and-go driving, you can get a high number.

 

All samples taken except the second one was taken after 50+ country road miles. Also truck is a Feb 03 build. Love my truck!!!

 

you might have an injector going, I had 2% fuel in my last sample dealer replace one injector. Dealer said to resample next oil change.
